Enhancing process automation capabilities for clients globally

The ZETA Group, a global EPCM contractor and plant manufacturer for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, announced today that it has fully acquired SIGMA Process & Automation GmbH. The name and brand SIGMA will remain unchanged, ensuring the same high quality and reliability in process automation services for customers worldwide.

The acquisition by ZETA provides numerous benefits to customers in the field of process automation. As an established expert in this field, SIGMA now has access to an extensive network, resources, and expertise within the group. This guarantees an expanded portfolio of solutions and services with shorter processing times.

Expansion of the management team

"The joining of our resources ensures that our customers benefit from the highest possible value of expertise and experience from our two companies," explains Andreas Marchler, CEO of ZETA Group. "Together, we offer a perfect network and comprehensive services that are close to our customers," underline the three CEOs of SIGMA, Martin Spinnler, Jochen Hasselbach, and Gerald Dollberger in unison.

With the expansion of the management team by Axel Thomas, a long-time SIGMA employee, an experienced and competent team is established to further expand the market position of ZETA and SIGMA in the field of process automation and digitalization.

Comprehensive network

The combined expertise of ZETA and SIGMA is now available to all customers, drawing upon a strong network of over 300 experts in process automation and digitalization. Comprehensive automation competence can be found in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region at 11 locations in close proximity to important industrial centers.

"The message to the market is clear: when it comes to custom automation solutions - from individual systems to extensive process control systems - there is no way around ZETA and SIGMA," explain the three managing directors Martin Spinnler, Jochen Hasselbach and Gerald Dollberger unanimously.
