How it works.

Get a comprehensive view right from the concept phase.

INOSIM models provide a holistic view of the production facility.

In addition to the production process, other influencing factors such as utility systems, material preparation and logistics can easily be included and analyzed. This results in a comprehensive understanding of the existing interdependencies and all restrictive elements.

The simulation model serves as a central hub for addressing all design issues throughout the engineering process, from initial concept studies to detailed design & operations.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

In which phase of the project does INOSIM Insight provide added value?

INOSIM Insight can be used both in the engineering phase when planning new plants (greenfield) and when expanding plants (brownfield). In addition, existing plants can be analyzed for bottlenecks and optimization measures.

What is the added value of INOSIM Insight compared to conventional calculation tools?

Conventional calculation tools quickly reach their limits when planning complex systems: Lack of clarity, imprecise assumptions and a high level of manual effort when making changes make the work more difficult and time intense. INOSIM Insight has been specially developed to map complex dependencies in the process industry in an intuitive, maintainable and flexible way. It enables a holistic view, easy customization and more efficient work processes – for innovative scenarios, fast reactions and smooth result communication.

What data is needed to create an INOSIM model?

Data that is needed for planning anyway, such as process flow diagrams, process descriptions, manufacturing specifications, mass balances and the like. Detailed information on thermodynamic or physical conditions is usually not required. Importantly, not all data needs to be available for the simulation right from the start. Thanks to the flexible model structure, data can easily be estimated initially and adjusted as the project progresses.

As a customer, do I use INOSIM Insight myself or does ZETA offer simulation services?

More than 30 highly qualified simulation experts are available worldwide to work with you on your simulation projects. You can take full advantage of the simulation without having to buy or operate the software. However, it is also possible to purchase licenses. In this case, our experts will be happy to assist you with training and, if required, further project support.
