Emulsions are used as carriers for pharmacological active ingredients in many pharmaceutical preparations. ZETA has over 30 years’ experience in the development of technical solutions for liquid aseptic production systems in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Industries. Customer-specific batch systems for the production of emulsions contribute to highly successful projects.

Nanoemulsion project execution in 15 months

Most recently, ZETA worked with an international healthcare company with a high-tech emulsion system for one of its U.S. locations. With a project execution timeframe of only 15 months, from basic design to commissioning, ZETA was able to engineer, develop and build a pilot plant consisting of the right mobile units (skids) for the nanoemulsion production.

Expansion of the nanoemulsion system

Due to the strong expertise and collaborative efforts, a high degree of customer satisfaction led to the additional commissioning of ZETA for the pilot -to-production expansion of the Customer’s nanoemulsion system. An additional batch system was integrated to the customer’s existing U.S site. This successful production expansion project now enables the nanoemulsions to be enriched with vitamins.
