Feature Article: Modernization of a downstream production plant
EPCM project completed in just 11 months
In August 2020, a manufacturer of veterinary products commissioned ZETA with the construction of several purification skids and their integration with the existing UK production site. However, as the project progressed, ZETA’s scope of delivery increased to a complete revamp of the entire downstream suite and included a revision of the ground and building infrastructure and upgrade of the HVAC and cleanroom systems.
The growing scope, in combination with the stringent timeline of the fast-track project, proved to be a tremendous challenge for the ZETA team. In spite of the significant increase in scope, the tight schedule was met as dictated by the planned production shutdown window. The ZETA team accepted the enormous challenge and successfully completed the project in only eleven months to the customer's highest satisfaction.
