ZETA’s wide experience of engineering and making processing systems enables us to recognise specific needs that are not being met by any easily obtainable products on the market. We have developed some special products to meet these needs, and our dedustingrings are one example. When powdered materials are being added to tanks, the powder tends to fly around in the air. Our dedustingrings are placed around the tank opening and create an air stream that captures this material, preventing contamination of the surroundings and reducing exposure of personnel to the powder.
The ZETA dedusting ring is a patented new development for the manual dosage of powder components in pharmaceutical plant under clean-room conditions. The evenly spaced intake openings and a specially designed air channel system on the inside of the ring ensure that a homogenous air curtain covers the filling port of the dedusting ring. This is an efficient means of preventing dust blowing back out from vessels or funnels into the environment. The dedusting ring is designed for cleaning in equipment washers. It is also available in a special design for explosion hazard zones (zone 0). The ring is made from polypropylene and meets FDA and USP Class 6 specifications.
The dedusting ring is ZETA's powerful solution for reducing the dust load by up to 99% during the addition of powdered ingredients.
