Dedustingrings

ZETA Dedustingrings

ZETA’s wide experience of engineering and making processing systems enables us to recognise specific needs that are not being met by any easily obtainable products on the market. We have developed some special products to meet these needs, and our dedustingrings are one example. When powdered materials are being added to tanks, the powder tends to fly around in the air. Our dedustingrings are placed around the tank opening and create an air stream that captures this material, preventing contamination of the surroundings and reducing exposure of personnel to the powder.

ZETA Features & Services

The ZETA dedusting ring is a patented new development for the manual dosage of powder components in pharmaceutical plant under clean-room conditions. The evenly spaced intake openings and a specially designed air channel system on the inside of the ring ensure that a homogenous air curtain covers the filling port of the dedusting ring. This is an efficient means of preventing dust blowing back out from vessels or funnels into the environment. The dedusting ring is designed for cleaning in equipment washers. It is also available in a special design for explosion hazard zones (zone 0). The ring is made from polypropylene and meets FDA and USP Class 6 specifications.

The dedusting ring is ZETA's powerful solution for reducing the dust load by up to 99% during the addition of powdered ingredients.

ZETA offers the following design variants:

  • Dedusting rings medium (LW 270 mm) and large (LW 500 mm)
  • Special solutions for explosion hazard zones
  • Funnels to fit any process tank opening

Customer Benefits

  • Avoids contamination
  • Improves safety
  • Makes execution of the process step easier
  • Adaptable to your equipment
  • Easy to clean

Dedusting ring medium

The dedusting ring LW 270 can be placed directly on the vessel or on an adapter funnel. This adapter funnel is made from stainless steel and can be flexibly adjusted to the specific opening of the vessel or any other conditions.

Attaching and removing the dedusting ring is simple: The extraction hose can be plugged directly into the connecting nozzle without the need for any additional mechanical bracket. The three rings can be mounted and removed in no time thanks to the bayonet fitting that is easy to open and close.

The dedusting ring is designed for cleaning in an equipment washer. For cleaning, the bayonet catch is opened to dismantle the ring into its three components that are then placed into a suitable basket for standard washing procedure.

Dedusting ring large

The dedusting ring LW 500 can be placed directly on the vessel or on an adapter funnel.

The dedusting ring can be cleaned in an equipment washer. To do so the ring is dismantled into its three parts. All it takes is loosening six bolts to open the quick release clamps. Assembly and disassembly takes less than two minutes.

Adapter funnel

The dedusting ring can be placed directly on the vessel or on an adapter funnel. This adapter funnel is made from stainless steel and can be flexibly adjusted to the specific opening of the vessel or any other conditions. In addition to the funnel dimensions, the material (various high-quality stainless steel grades) and surface finish (electropolished with Ra <0.8 µm) can also be adjusted to customer needs.
